I taught English as a Foreign Language for many years until my retirement. 

Sometime later, after walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, I resolved to fulfil a lifetime's ambition and write my debut novel - Waiting for Amy.

These days I live in Devon, by the sea; but I am still a frequent visitor to northern Spain and Germany, where I have friends and family.
